I taught philosophy for 32 years at universities in the U.S. and Canada, retiring in 2024 as the W. G. Clark Professor of Philosophy at Acadia University. I was awarded Acadia’s highest recognition for excellence in teaching.

My book Determinism, Death, and Meaning was published by Routledge in 2022. It has been reviewed here and here.

My other philosophical work appears in various edited collections and in scholarly journals such as The Journal of Philosophy, Erkenntnis, Synthese, and Philosophy and Phenomenological Research.
